Hello! My name is Ekaterina Zolotykh. I am a photographer, retoucher and author of creative visual content. I live and work in Moscow. As a teenager, I mastered working with film cameras available to me, as well as the process of printing pictures on photo paper. A genuine interest in capturing reality and its creative rethinking has evolved over time from a favorite hobby into a profession. 

As a commercial photographer, I specialize in portrait, content and reportage photography. As an artist, I would like to say the following:

“Beauty, emotion, moment, fantasy — these are the ingredients that one wants to add to one degree or another when brewing a potion called photography. There is no universal recipe, just as there is no getting stuck in one technique, one genre, one style. To live another life with the help of a camera and give this opportunity to other people is a fascinating mission.” 

Before devoting myself entirely to photography, I taught Russian for many years. I worked as a tutor and a teacher of courses and a university. I have a PhD in pedagogical sciences. But with the birth of children, as often happens, I reconsidered the possibilities of my professional development. One thing I can say for sure: if a person is a perfectionist, then he is a perfectionist in everything:)
